ANSWERINGtheCALL is where The Musical Medic's musical journey all started.
What is ANSWERINGtheCALL?
When Brian started playing the guitar, he found it very soothing for himself and wanted to share with others. As a first responder frequenting the hospital, bringing his music there was a natural pursuit. He began to perform for patients at Maine Medical Center as it could lift their spirits during their extended stay. Brian did this on a weekly basis for several years, bringing bedside music to patients. He continues to make himself available upon request* free of charge for this service. It remains something he holds near and dear regarding his destined path as The Musical Medic. Brian commits to hold onto his roots by performing in uniform to patients. This is his way of ANSWERINGtheCALL.

Due to these unprecedented times, The Musical Medic performs this outreach service on a pre approved basis. All performances are subject to coordination and approval of the patient, family, caregiver teams, and the hospitals administration. All performances will adhere to current visitation guidelines. The Musical Medic asks for your patience regarding these changing guidelines as the COVID 19 pandemic evoloves and continues to impact our hospitals.
